A Great Day Shopping

What a great day! Lauren and I both needed to take our sewing machines in for service, so we made a day of it. First we visited our local quilt shop Rosie's Calico Cupboard where I purchased a few yards of Christmas fabric. This is such fun fabric, Merry and Bright by Sandy Gervais.



Then we went to The Quilted Rose where I purchased some thread and a pantograph; this pantograph is supposed to be easy, so hopefully I can quilt it, I will let you know how it turns out. We dropped off our sewing machine for service, and then we went to one of my favorite Southern CA taco shops, Santana's, where I indulged in my favorite California Burrito, there is nothing else like it! Our final stop was the Quilt Visions Gallery, here we saw the most amazing art quilts! If you are in SD you really should check them out, they are exquisite. Life is Good.
