Since I have not completed a quilt in forever I needed something mindless to do in the evenings in place of sewing on bindings, so I am trying knitting with fabric. It is not as difficult as I thought it might be. Obviously, there is not as much stretch in the fabric as there is in yarn, but I got used to that fairly quickly. I am using the leftovers from squaring off when I cut, so the size of the strips I am using is very inconsistent, resulting in some holes. I am using #17 knitting needles, in retrospect I think a smaller size may have been better.
