I needed a case for my Ipod...what do you think? I was in a big hurry, so I did not really measure, just laid the Ipod on the fabric. Then I layered some scraps with batting, did some real quick quilting using a straight stitch and then zig zagged around a few time. It ended up a tad too tall, so I added some Velcro to keep the Ipod inside.

- I learned to sew as a young girl. My Mom taught me as she was making clothes for me and my sister, often they were matching outfits. In high school I made some of my own clothes and a prom dress for a friend. It was not until almost 30 years later that I began sewing again. It started with a quilt for my niece on her first birthday and has continued as a passion.
